I've finally taken the time to get a Flickr up and running!

Below is a sequence i shot at a Point to Point race over the bank holiday weekend. I think the sequence is self-explanatory, but i'd love to hear any comments or critiques you may have!

I would have posted the images themselves, but they are a little too large and too many to post them all in one thread.

    Shot 1

    Shot 2

    Shot 3

    Shot 4

    Shot 5

Nicely captured. Shot 3 is probably my fav.. Would love to have seen it shot tighter to the subject of horse and jockey..

Good story board and I agree, #3 is the winner!!!

With all the other shots i had quite a bit of room to crop around the main subject. The 3rd shot, which i think is the best too, is right up against the edge of frame so theres no room to play with really.

    :(

I was thinking of placing them all into one storyboard-type frame. But flickr doesn't seem to like shots above 1024px wide, which might make it a little too small.

The horse was absolutely fine, btw.
    ;)

That's one of the restrictions of a free account, you can go as large as you like (as long a the file size is less than 10MB) on a pro account.

I'll have to think about upgrading. I'm really bad for starting up sites like these and then forgetting about them completely. Reckon i'll wait and see how much use i make of the free version before i splash out some money on the pro account.

I would like to see picture no. 2 and half :-)

Can't help you there i'm afraid. Got another shot between 1 and 2 but it doesn't show anything extra to make it worthwhile putting in.

Nice shots, dangerous racing at the point to point. Last one I was at 2 horses were put down. :(

We missed the first race and just as we were driving through the gates to the ground, an ambulance came out flashing its lights. A jockey was a bit knocked around in the fall, but hadn't been seriously injured.
