Going into first year at NUI Galway next year and have to make up my mind about where I want to live. Am deciding between Gort na Coiribe or Centrepoint. Anyone know which one I should pick? Or would you recommend anywhere else?

Gort na Coiribe is full and Centrepoint is meant to be far from college

I think Gort Na Coiribe reserves a few places for first years and there wil always be people pulling out. If your a first Year tou should stay in Corrib village. Pure ****e hole but by far the best craic for first year

I actually got lucky and got a single ensuite in Gort na Coribe because i got my thing in really early. Or they might have just taken pity on me cause im foreign.

Stay in Corrib Village. Great craic and great place to make new friends. Centrepoint is way too far a walk, and Gort is mainly 2nd and 3rd years
