Didn't Beans release an album named Only last year?Have it on my iPod and its surely the dullest instrumental album I've ever heard.

I haven't heard much positive about A-PC in general tbh.

Yeah,ONLY is not the best example of Beans, the antipop consortium were all about pushing and expanding 'all' boundaries of hip hop. Beans was particularly into abstracting hip hop beats and twisting them to hopefully avail a new lyrical rhythm for the MC to produce against, also very electronic in sound. He has 2 albums on Warp-records 'Tomorrow Right Now' (worth checking out) & Shock Maverick City (which i never got into)

Orizio- did you checkout the video i posted ? can't deny that thats not some of the dope-st hip hop ever made.

Arrhythmia by APC is probably their most accessible album,
Shopping Carts Crashing & Antipop vs. Matthew Shipp are also worth checking but definitely checkout Arrhythmia 1st, in fact i insist you check it out.

    Peace

Only have The Ends Against The Middle & apart from a couple of half decent tracks (non-instrumental), the rest i found was pretty bland and almost irritating to listen to!

High Priest and M. Sayyid formed Airborn Audio after the split of APC back in 2002. They brought out an album Good Fortune on Ninja Tune a couple of years back. Havent heard a thing since then, aside from a few mixtapes.

I can.For a start, is hard to describe that as Hip-Hop - its basically electronic style beats with people rapping on them,a style I like but still hard to say its Hip-Hop.The beat itself is interesting but lacks variation and hence gets repetitive and the raps are nothing to write home about.I'd listen to it, but far from jaw dropping stuff.

I can't watch that on my crappy labtop, but if your point is that they rap over here Hip-Hop beats as well then fine,I never said they didn't.The first track is electronic regardless.
