I'd like to say Hi

I would say that most of the current regulars of the poker forum probably won't know me from adam as I have had to put poker on the back burner for a while due to some fairly serious personal issues. But once upon a time I was a regular face here and offline.

Well the purpose of this thread is just to say Hi to those who know me and to get a feel of the current state of affairs of irish poker. I'm hoping to get back to the level I was at about 12-18 months ago.

Anyway that's about the long and the short of it. hoping to make new friends with all the 'new' bunch and renew old friendships with the 'oldies'

I have been reading all thiese posts about the IO and other events and I have to confess of not recognising 90% of the names - unless I know them to see and not by their Boards name.

btw - is there any decent non-casino game that finishes early during the week. Does the red cow game finish early?

Dont believe there is a game like this but I think there is a market for it big time...us non student office types have to be in bed early!

A 6pm start for a 100e or 200e freezeout would be ideal for me...

I saw the name on the Charter and just thought you were one of the original Games uber-mods. But welcome back, alot has changed in the last couple of years with the game, it's much tougher now than it was back then.

LOL i didnt realise so few were still around from the beginning of the poker forum. The days when the Fitz freeroll was where most of the best players on here used to hone their skills, and the €270 end of month was the equivalent of the WSOP ME.:D

Hi Chris.

I met Chris for the first time in the Fitz around the start of '04.

It was just after this forum got started. I thought he was some sort of stalker because he started talking to me at the table like he'd know me for years without introducing himself as someone off boards. Since then I'm too scared to post.

Actually I think I remember the Hyzepher character on boards being a sarky bastard from time to time but the Chris I'm thinking of was really friendly and sound so I may not have the right person.
