Have done a little looking around about this player, and it seems to only have good thiings said about it. After all the hassle i went through with my last Ipod, is this going to be the player that re-ignites my love for technology?!

    wat do people think?

if you can get around how heavy it is and how bulky, you are looking at one of the best pmps on the market. It has a massive battery life and supports most file types for music and for video

My advice is go for it ;)

The A2 is a bloody fantastic device... hard drive could be bigger though...

The A2 is a fantastic piece of kit. I had one for a good while, but ended up selling it as I ended up living a 1min walk from work. I can't fault it in anyway, though as Bard says it could have a bigger drive. Still the A3 is on the way with a 60GB drive!

I've had one for nearly a year and have good and bad things to say about it.

On the good side it is a brilliant peice of kit. Plays nearly everything you throw at it and no other device touches it's battery life. Screen is excellent. Personally I don't find it bulky and it has saved my life on trips/planes etc etc. With it being a Cowan unit sound quality and sound effect options are excellent.

On the bad side I bought mine from the US and the hard drive failed some months ago. I did some digging and found a lot of people with the same issue. I had to return it to the States which was a fecking pain but they replaced the HD and all is well again. Cowan have no support center that I'm aware of in Europe. Maybe if you buy from an Irish retailer you'd be safer.
