gorilla cup

    the sbg gorilla cup was held in sbgnorthside on good friday.there was 35 athletes from 3 clubs sbg ireland sbgnorthside and ko martial arts.we had 3 groups in the blue belts.light middle and heavy.and 5 groups in the white belts. winner g1 steven otoole sbgn winner g2 liam otoole sbgn winner g3 karl roach sbgn winner g4 aisling sbg winner g5 riche moore sbgn winner g6 michael ganbois sbgn winner g7 emmet sbg winner g8 steven lowery sbgn.we finished of with some rolling.there was some realy good fights at every level.some great displays of bjj from patrick boylan at only 45 kgs and only 15 his one to watch for the future.sbgnorthside would like to thank everyone who turned up .andy ryan sbgn

    Thanks for the fun. I had great time. Maybe next time i should consider doing some warmup though :) My first match was so horrible on my part that i am ashamed. Though the opponent was really good too. Well.. maybe next time :D

    Also on second note. I was really impressed of amount of quality bjj'ers there was. Wish i could roll there too. Too bad kind of too far for me.

    keep that cup warm for us, we'll be coming for it in '08!

    and i have to remind myself to be nice to patrick boylan now coz in about 5-6yrs he's going to be toying with everybody! :)
