alrighty, i've got some kind of virus on my computer and its proving hard to remove

it keeps creating several files in the system32 folder

1 which i was able to delete, the other which keeps reappering, its callsed
    awtss.dll
there are also the files sstwa.ini plus a few back ups

i was only able to remove that one file by going in to vista (on my dual boot) and deleting it), it also has some registry files, and is tying the files in to explorer.exe and winlogon.exe, thus, i'm not able to delete them when the computer is on

the virus so far causes explorer.exe and most of my start up items not to load with windows, i have to load explorer.exe from the run command

please help. this is givingme a headache

(if you need more info, tell me, i'll try to provide it)

Please download the self-extracting version of HijackThis from here:

    HijackThis_sfx download

    Save HijackThis_sfx to your desktop.

Double-click the file then click the Unzip button. Then close the Self-Extractor window.

Using My Computer/Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\HijackThis and double click on HijackThis.exe to run it. If you would like to make a shortcut for your Desktop so it's more easily accessable, right click HijackThis.exe and choose Send To > Desktop (create shortcut).

Please run the extracted HijackThis.exe from now on. Delete any copies of HijackThis.zip that you have saved.

Open HijackThis and click Do a system scan and save a log file. Copy the entire contents of that log and post it here

yep they might, but its not a good idea to use the answers from somebody else's HijackThis log. Always better to post your own as there's a lot of stuff you need to consider when helping somebody.
