This apparently magnificent piece of PC hardware (PCI-Express version, check out the ATI website for more info) is very hard to find.

Does anyone have a clue where it can be bought:

    - OTC in Ireland or
    - Online with delivery to Ireland

    ?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Sakis

I have checked the ati site, and still have no idea what the hell you are on about?

You want a pcie all in wonder card? So you want a graphics card with build in tv tuner?

I think the last card to have this was a x800 AIW, But i doubt you will find one of them.

    *edit*

    Found it here at amazon:

Bad news is the All In Wonder line is dead RIP.

Those links on ATI's site are just left overs from the last generation of the AIW. If you look around eBay & other channels you might still find the odd card but it is increasingly difficult to locate them.

Anti the All In Wonder line was a line of ATI graphics cards with built in VIVO/TV Tuner/Radio Tuner but they have now ceased development of them.

Well ATI Europe reps (on Hexus if I recall) stated that the All In Wonder line is no longer in development.

Also the 2006 AIW X1300 actually appeared late 2005 so the name tag is a touch misleading.

It could be that a few remaining AIW X1K cards are to be found in North America because ATI still sells it's own brand cards in that market but in Europe it has pretty much left that to it's partners.

I would not expect to see any new graphics cards using the All In Wonder name.

Judging by my own web research recently, I'd have to concur...

What other PCI-E card could do the same job? Or is it always recommended to have two separate cards for graphics and TV?

There are no other cards the AIW was the last of it's kind, NVIDIA toyed briefly with a version of it's own during the GeForce FX era but eventually canned it.

Best & only route now is separate cards, the best analogue tuners are the ATI Theatre 550/650 Pro but coincidently they are no longer available in Europe :(

Any of the AverMedia cards on Komplett should do the job for FM/TV/Video capture. Along with whatever GPU of your choice.

Until now, I've been using Hauppauge cards on my desktops. Still haven't gotten a certain AverTV I was eyeing for my laptop... anyway, how about future-proofing for digital TV? Any specific brand suggestions there?

Thanks for the quick replies, BTW :)

Well Hauppauge aren't always the best quality I'd probably lean towards the AverMedia devices as they are well supported but it should not matter which you get as the DVB-T is digital after all.
