Does anyone know if a Sky HD remote can be programmed to work a standard Sky+ box?

Unfortunetly despite - the remote control frequency of the Sky HD being almost the same as the Sky Plus - the Sky HD remote does not control the old Sky Plus, but the Sky plus remote does control the Sky HD which is rather annoying if both boxes are located in close proximity to one another.

The skyHD remote can control the sky+ box, to do this press tv on the remote then press select and the i button together until the led flashes twice then press the number 1 button and then select, the HD remote will now control the sky+ box, to change back press the number 2 instead of 1.

    Yup, DigiDec is right.

It's also possible to make a Sky+ remote work a standard digibox, and vice versa.

Cool, cause I like the new HD remotes better than the standard Sky+ ones - plus they match the TV better :)

Didn't guess watty mate, I simply stated what I've been told by my employer who as of today I've informed was wrong and as I stated in previous post I stand correctly and thank you all for showing me the wrongs to my ways

    Regards,
    Steve
