Streaming Internet Radio

I use a link to a local radio station and it works fine on one of my PC's but not on the other? (Both running Windows XP Pro)

    This is the link
    http://vista.streamguys.com/galwaybayfm

When I follow the link on the PC that works, it momentarily opens my browser (IE7) & then fires up Windows media player(11) & the station plays away fine.

When I follow this link on the problem PC, it opens IE7 & displays the "Internet Explorer Can Not Display this page" error. It also threw up a box asking me to save a file called galwaybayfm.asx, so I did & if I run that file it opens Media Player & plays the radio station.

My confusion is this, Why can I use the direct link on one PC? yet I have to run the file "galwaybayfm.asx" on the other PC to get it to work?

Any ideas as to what is causing Explorer to fail to open the link?

I have checked the run of the mill things like the SSL & TLS settings in IE7 & made sure it's not a firewall issue too, but they are not the problem.

The second PC hasn't been configured to use WMP to open .asx files by default. That's why it asks you to save the file and not automatically open it in WMP.

Open WMP, Tools->options. Click on file types tab and tick .asf. That should work.
