Hey everyone. So my old reliable Nokia 3510i, has finally bit the dust. I've been swapping covers and keypads and batteries from friend's retired models for some time now, to try and keep it ticking over, but now it seems that it's finally given up the ghost. Whether it's plugged in for charging or not, it just doesn't seem to even light up let alone turn on.

Anyway, I have unlocked another old O2 phone and have managed to bring my SIM over to it. The only problem is that the sim didn't bring across my contacts or saved messages. Now normally, this would be an occupational hazard and something that would just be accepted but I really would like to get the messages especially. Is there anyway, that the phone's memory can be transferred to something? Literally anything possible I'm willing to try as i have a lot of info in there I'd like to have... I'm based in Dublin so if there any places that can do this, then let me know. I only assume Meteor is a lost cause as the phone is 4 years old now...

    Thanks in advance!

If you can't turn it on then you can't get anything off it. You could try The Telephone Centre on Dawon St and see if they can do anything for you - but you're gonna spend more time and money then you would just rebuilding your phone book the hard way.

Register on www.o2.ie and you'll get your call history for the last 30 days which may help you identify numbers you call a lot anyway.

Wont turn on eh, well I had that phone for a while and mine also bit the dust (albeit it bit the dust 2 years ago) I gave it to a guy in Limerick and he said he could fix it but you'd be much better off buying a new model

as for the messages did the 3510i store msgs I can't remeber because if there on the sim card I dont know why there not coming up on the other phone
