Does anyone else feel that the Pope's ability to change something as fundamental as the Stations of the Cross undermines the entire structure of the Catholic Church as an organised religion?

Wasn't aware that he had changed them -- are there any links to more information?

The Catholic church have been redefining Christianity for years, so this is pish posh compared to what has gone on. There is however, some good in this in that the good Monsignor is giving the unscriptural Veronica her P45!

BTW, I was practicing Catholic (never missed mass, sang in folk group, etc...), until 6 years ago. During my years of being a Catholic though, I always had problems with various aspects of the R.C.C. the above 'changing to suit the times' being one of them. So yes Carsinian, for me the constant changing certainly undermines the teaching and structure of the Catholic Church.
