Will new GFX card with DVI out, work with old monitor?

I'm shortly going to be upgrading my PC - new mobo/cpu, new RAM and new GFX card.
I'm looking at a GeForce 8800GTS, however, any card of this type I have looked at (on komplett or ocuk), has output connectors (DVI) completely different to what is on the end of my monitor cable.

    So, my questions are:
Are these GFX cards suitable for my monitor, and if so, do they come with some sort of dongle/converter, or do I need to buy one?

Well thats kinda hard to say seeing as you have not said what connector your moniter uses. i'd just like to ask you what your current setup is now, because you very well may need to upgrade your PSU aswell.

I'm upgrading just about everything (new case, PSU, motherboard, CPU, RAM, HDD, GFX card).
I don't know the correct name for it, but the connector on my monitor cable is the "traditional" style (15 pin d-sub?).
There are no other connectors/inputs/outputs on the monitor.

Yeah thats the d-sub. I would think that it comes with a adapter, check it out I think it should say it if it does. If it doesnt Im sure you can get one in dublin.
