new software for tomtom1 uk/ire out soon

    was in halfords today, and a guy i know that works there told me that there is new software update on the uk/ire tomtom1 coming out next week. and it will be as good as navteq..

    the 1 Europe version already has the Navteq > presuming they are just changing ove the SD card in them that holds the maps

    speaking of Halfords anyone know the returns policy there.
    bought a streetpilot c510 there last week and would like to exchange it for a tomtom one europe cos the streetpilot is useless

    no. he said tele atlis was coming up to date. and should be as good as navteq, that is what he was told ?

    its working perfect now..
    I changed it from Shortest distance to fastest route and its working great.

    I have the tom tom one europe question i have is can you change it from finding the quickest route to the shortest route.I find it very good but how do you know which maps it has Halfords told me it had tele atlas but the guy who showed it to me in the car after buying it said it had nav tec maps v9 ?which one is it
