i have a dilemma. I want to go abroad after the leaving cert and go camping, but the question is to what country? and also what mode of transport? i.e. Hiking, Cycling or rent a car/ go on the train. Plan on spending 2-3 weeks on holidays. Any advice or suggestions would be grateful.

Might have trouble renting a car if you're at leaving cert age. Take your bikes to France or Belgium, loads of campsites, good roads and cheap beer ;) If you're taking your own bike, then why not take the ferry from Rosslare to Cherbourg/Roscoff, pretty cheap way to get to west coast of France.
