Anyone read Davy,s 1st column in star ? very reasonable stuff.

New clare manager Considine must be thick to have ditched him.

I find Davy Fitz one objectionable unlikeable person. He's an arrogant man with precious little sportsmanship.

2005 All-Ireland s-final summed him up. Clare leading most of the way, Davy time-wasting as much as he could. Cork edge ahead, Davy cannot get the ball out quick enough. Cork win and Davy starts beating the hurley off the sod like a demented spoiled child. The same year he was awarded a thoroughly undeserved All-star, ahead of Donal Og Cusack.

I, for one, won't miss the sight of him in this year's Championship and fair play to any man for standing up against him.

He is a much better writer than a public speaker. :D

So he was wasting a bit of time while Clare were leading, and then was dissappointed when he lost. Jeez what a complete a**hole.

Still at least he was pucking out using the offical match sliotars unlike a certain Donal Og, is that a cork example of good sportsmanship?
