Wasn't sure where to put this - hope I got it right.

I'm trying to get a tree protection order. I wrote the council town clerk who ignored the letter. Can anybody advise the best way to go about getting one?

I am interested in doing the same, my plan is to contact the environmental department of city hall and also the civic trust. Would also be interested in knowing if this is the correct way to go about things.
