The championship is just around the corner which means the Sunday Game back on our screens.

It's about time RTE brought back the original Sunday Game theme tune - it was the sound of the summer for all GAA fans!

I've created an online petition :

Bring back "The Sunday Game" theme tune

Please sign it and let's see if we can get 10000 signatures! An ambitious target but achievable!

Have you thought about posting this on the Hogan stand website Not advertising, just supporting the petition.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Was there not another petition like this a few years ago??

I'd hope it works, but RTE have stated on a few occasions that they wouldn't be going bact to that theme tune - it's replacement isn't even 1% as good as it

Typical RTE, have something good and then go and ruin it by using something rubbish instead

Why dont we all email RTE about the tune? What about JOE Duffy ? Its a pity the tune is gone compared to the tribal tripe they had last summer (but you kind of get used to it after a while ).

Also while we are at it - lets get Pat Spillane off the presentation ( knows nothing about hurling and is just annoying ) and get rid of Joe Brolley ( ridicoulous northern accent and sits on the fence contantly and poor analysis)
