Bray jazz festival is coming up May Bank Holiday weekend. More info at www.brayjazz.com

Also Templebar Open Jazz is soon I think?

And Newpark Music Festival, basically the jazz school there have a talent showcase near the end of the term. I think that's in May aswell. Keep an eye on this forum for updates!

Is the Howth Jazz festival still going every Easter Monday, or has it bit the dust?

Cork Jazz Festival is the biggest one every year around hallowe'en time.

For blues, I like the Rory Gallagher festival in Ballyshannon, it's on around 1st June weekend this year.

Think their used to be a Monaghan blues festival too, anyone know if that's still going?

    Bray Jazz looks good too,
and in a similar vein, Dun Laoghaire has a World Culture Festival every summer, which has some good artists.
