I want to get a new computer but I also want it to have a large monitor with a tv tuner so I can play video game and watch TV (while using the PC sometimes). About 24 inch should do what is the best buy? IIs there a good dell deal where you can get the monitor you want or is there much cheaper elsewhere?

Somebody over in the Bargain forum said they had got a Samung 19" for €287 from Argos:

My Dad has one of these and its a very good computer monitor. Can't comment on the tuner in it, but Sky through scart was ok but not as good as my Dell 26". I've been keeping an eye for a 22" monitor with Scart and component connections that does 1920x1080 but no luck so far.

That resolution would be wasted on that size screen don't you think?

Well most 20" LCDs are 1680x1050 so I think 1920x1080 would be fine on a 22". As the LCD would be the main monitor for my PC, the extra resolution would be useful.
