I am reading reviews of the 7900GS from XFX, PNY, Inno3d, etc..

However I want to know, do DELL OEM cards perform the same as these ones or worse and if so, how much worse?

    thanks

Dell OEM cards are the same as regular cards except sometimes they show up as a Dell 7600GT etc in the device manager.

They are clones of the reference design so basically they are stock cards with no extras or modifications though on occasion Dell may put in extra ducting for cooling on high end models.

    That's it.

Also supposedly with the R600 based high end cards, the Dell versions will be on the very long PCB that has been shown whereas the other cards will be smaller pcb wise.

Those would be for select OEM customers cheaper to make then shorter cards as the chassis can be built to accommodate the card.

I wouldn't expect those long versions will last very long once the shorter versions get up to speed in terms of manufacturing.
