AutoCad 2006 & Vista

I got one of them free copies for Vista for attending the launch. I havent used AutoCad at home cause I havent needed to but today the one day I need it it wont work! Vista never told me that there was a problem with AutoCad and it seems that they wont be fixing it! I wonder what the boss will think when I ask him for…

I wonder what the boss will think when I ask him for AutoCad 2008!

Or by any chance does any one now how to get it working with AutoCad 2006?

It is probably just a case of turning off UAC or as angel2 linked to running it as administrator.

Officialy 2007 & 2008 are the only ones going to be supported by Autodesk.

You could try running the application in Compatibility mode for XP SP2, it was the only way I could get some applications to work.
