So I went into Game yesterday to buy GH2 and saw they had 1 Wii left, so I accidentally bought it. Oopsie.

Anyway, for some reason, the Wiimotes are very jerky on the screen. My hands wouldn't be the steadiest I suppose, but it takes ages to move it around, it moves very quickly and won't stay still when I get it to where I want it to be. I can see the Wiimote menu, but there doesn't seem to be any sort of "calibration" option, am I missing something?

Is the sensor bar on the top or bottom of the telly? Did you tell the Wii where the sensor bar is located?

You should also mess around with the wiimote sensitivity. Make sure the wiimote is only seeing the two IR lights from the sensor bar. You should increase the sensitivity as high as possible without getting any background interference. My wiimotes are working perfectly.

The sensor bar is under the tv (well more in front of, than under per se). It's the sensitivity I'm interested in, how do I mess around with that? The Wiimote "home menu" doesn't seem to mention it.

On the main menu, hit the button in the bottom left... you should be able to set up the sensitivity somewhere in that menu (sorry, can't remember where exactly off hand...)

also there's an update which i think improves it somewhat.

I thought one of my wimotes was faulty initially as it would hardly move. Then a really good shake must have loosened up the motion sensor in it.

Have you tried re-syncing it? Try pressing the sync button on the Wii (near the SD card slots) and then the one on the remote (under the battery cover), not both at once.
