Getting Velvia film?

I really should be doing this, considering I've my new camera somewhere on its way, but I got six rolls of films back on CD today, most of the photos from which I'm incredibly happy over (clicky). Magicbastarder's botanic garden photos leave me wanting to try Velvia film, but I apparently can't get it here in Galway.

I was into the Galway Camera Shop...well, it's the Galway Camera Shop. Prices and availability in Dublin?

7dayshop are good for film. I ordered a bunch of various B&W films a while back and they arrived pretty quickly actually. The had plenty of Velvia (even 50) in stock at that stage, in 35mm and 120.

Hmmm, not that it seems any use, but I actually bought 2 rolls of Velvia 100 and 1 Tmax 400 in my only ever 2 hours in Galway last year...

    Small shop...meh, you'd know better than I :p

bought ten rolls on thursday in gunns; €5.95 for 35mm, €3.60 for 120. got five of each. all 100ASA, if memory serves.

it's €6.50 for dev only (and cut to 6) processing of 35mm slide in the fuji centre on lower abbey street; i don't think i've ever had a complaint with their fuji slide processing; i've only ever dropped sensia, provia and velvia trannies in there.

Okay, that's cheap. The Galway Camera Shop said they could order it for 10 euros a roll. Feh.
