An antidote to all the negative threads about airlines.

I booked a return flight Dublin-Barcelona with Clickair in January (thanks to Bargain Alerts). Since then I received a few emails informing me of changes to the flight times. No big deal I thought and kept track of the changes. return flight was a bit early (7 am) but that actually suited me.

A couple of weeks before travel I got a phone call from Clickair to make sure I was aware of the changes which I thought was a nice touch.

Then, while I'm in Barcelona, I get another call from them. They're checking again that I'm aware of the return flight time. They apologise for the inconvenience and offer to change the flight to another day free of charge if I'd like to spend a bit longer in Barcelona (or go home a day early). It so happens that staying an extra day really suits me so they sort it all out over the phone.

    Quality customer service. :)

Complete opposite for me. The time changes are a complete pain in the a-hole, and the telephone operator was really rude.

Well it is part of Iberia. Rudeness is about the only thing they tend to do well ;)

    :D
As I said in a different thread, about a different airline, I just want to get from A to B; I don't need a cuddle on the way!

Clickair are cowboys full stop. They owe me 700euro for cancelled flights, anybody got an e-mail address for them ??

You wont find an email address and if you do, you'll be lucky to get a reply. Try this number: 00800 25425247. If that doesn't work, try this number: 011 34 93 551-8000. And if that doesn't work, you're on your own! :p

It seems as if they're only going to operate the Dublin-Barcelona route during the summer, which is a pain in the ass for me anyway. Unless it's absolutely necessary, I'd avoid Ryanair if you're looking to get to BCN. Then again, Aer Lingus' prices have already and will continue to rise on this route.

I know of some lads booked with clickair going from barca to dubrovnik for the montenegro game in sept...they had flights from dublin to barca in morning then onto dubrovnik but they changed the dubrovnik flights to earlier in the day so lose out now have to fly dublin to barca the day before and stay over night now.. their not too impressed with clickair

Since last April I think. They're a subsidary of Iberia, identical to the Germanwings/Lufthansa model.
