    Went to Aldi Ballincollig this morning to pickup a Garmin handheld gps, just as well I got there early, there was just 2, the manager came out to tell us that all Aldi shops got just two each, I was lucky, there were lots more disappointed, what kind of advertising is this? seems the ploy is "get em into the shop at all costs" so they will buy something, he went on to say there should have been 20 per shop but it was a managerial error :rolleyes:
    Have seen comments to this effect on the ie forums recentl

    hahahah thats a good "April Fool" by Aldi

    I never bought anthing where i have to stand in Q at 5 in morning
    i think its just plain stupid and most of the times not worth it.

    out of 5 times may be one time u will get a good deal.

    Also did they Sacked that manager for making "managerial error" resulting in loss of sale ?

    Thats the whole idea of these specials so that they can get you into the shops
