the rf outlets from the back of my digibox dont seem to be working properly. for some reason i can get the signal from the terristrial stations but nothing from sky to the tvs upstairs and in the kitchen. the main tv tv is working fine via a scart lead.

Are you sending your terrestrial aerial into the loop through of your sky box. If so there may be a clash between the signal channel your terrestrial aerial uses and that of your sky box

    To check this
Press services on top of your remote.
    Press 4
Then in quick succession press 0 then 1 then select to access secret installers menu.
    Select option 4 RF Outlets
Change the RF Channel the sky box sends it signal out on. i.e change to 22
U may want to also turn the rf power to on if its off whilst in here
then highlight the save new settings and hit select

U might want to to specify where you currently reside and other members can tell you the frequencys used by the terrestrial aerials in your area..

    Regards,
    Steve

Unplug the aerial into the digibox and see if RTE etc disappears from other tv's and the satellite picture is present

Put back in your terrestrial aerial connection to the back of the sky box and change the rf output of the sky box, that should sort it

Now that you know signal is present, put the aerial cable back into the back of the Skybox. If Sky picture disappears, or becomes distorted, then you've a terrestrial channel interfering.

In this scenario you'll need to readjust the RF output frequency of the Sky Box to something that won't have terrestrial interference. It'll be trial and error.
