its possible. you just need a sub card and and the sky italia receiver, which is similar to a uk digibox. afaik their isnt any phone line crap involved so once you have them you're sorted.

i think its around 1000 for a year sub!

Technically you need an Italian address. It is as hard as getting Sky UK
