From what I've seen I'm not gonna argue with that. Perhaps murali instead of langeveldt. I missed all the games over the last week or so though including Ireland England while I was away.

Definitely have to find room for Murali...
And with all due respect to the O'Brien boy, I'd put Gilchrist behind the stumps.
And Rankin's done OK but I think Flintoff shades it for his batting!

No space for any South Africans? I hope SA wins the trophy and puts all your lists to shame ;)

Kallis, Smith and Boucher to name a few ;) , you do know cricketers need to bat.

There could be a bit of a scrap for the gloves between boucher and gilly, but I couldn't see who else to include. SA are a really strong side, but when you look at it, where are the great individuals? Whoever you look at, there's somebody else just a bit better playing for another team.

Giibs would have got in on top of his game, but not now. Kallis is too selfish. Pollock is a fading force. You could maybe throw in Ntini for Malinga...

Smith has batted better than anyone i have seen in this worldcup (havent seen all teams). I really dont think pollock is a fading force, its so easy for a bowler to have a few bad games and thats the *end* of them. The west indies pitches are doing pollock no favours at all, they could not be worse for him tbh. Factor in how the batsman are targeting him because they know he is dangerous and a few bad games make a bit more sense.
I agree he is getting on in his years, but he still has a few wickets left in him ;o.
