3 3G datacard and Vista

Has anyone used this combination before ???

I heard that the card is not compatiable with Vista but the store has told me 'oh there is a step by step guide for it to work'. Now not that I'm being sceptical or anything but I have heard all this before.

Anyone got any exposure of experience of this ?

they are most probably correct and that there is an inelegant hack to make it work like when XP came out and 2000 drivers had to be hacked in to work as there were no XP drivers for lots of gear .

A driver for windows Vista is available on the 3 website:

I haven't tried it myself.

If its any use to anyone the Vodafone USB 3g connect wont work with Vista..

yeah it does...i have the drivers...don't think they are officially released yet though in ireland

Tried it dosent work on mine..The Data team said dont support that version because it only v9.1. They said you could try it but it is not recommended as it can f*** up the settings on the card. They got that info from english vodafone but they did say it could work on a some pc's
