    now it won't accept my genuine log in details.
    says after 3 attempts you will be logged out but I tried 6 till got fed up.
    software obviously s***e.

    I'm just about to apply now: what happens if I mess things up?
    Can I save my details and finish it later?
    edit:it's OK, after you've submitted your application you can amend it later.
    I have one question though; the columns "10 Month End Date" and "10 Month Start Date"; I left them as they were. The "10 Month End Date" was 30/06/2006 and the 10 Month Start Date was 01/09/2006.
    I presume it is OK because in the Application form we got in the post it's the same, those dates are pre-printed in those columns.

    those are the dates you chose to start/end your sps year.
    managed to apply myself after a tortuous struggle.
    shouldn't expect anything less from an over bureaucratic department.
