Has the drop happened over here yet?

Not yet. Sony are being coy about Euro price drops according to Eurogamer.

It'll probably take 6 months to happen, like the launch delay :p >_>

Or just get a cheaper DS, the games are far better. Even if you get a custrom firmware the emulators are sh*ite.

    Just import one from US

    Question
My kid dropped his and completely smashed so I need a new one.
Will the ones from the US play all the games he has bought over here and/or
any other problems with buying from the US?

You will need to get either a transformer or a european charger for the PSP. Other than that there should be no trouble.

Megadrive and SNES emulation is ****e and PS1 emulation can be a pain in the arse but works rather well on most games.

I'm going to be picking one up when MGS Portable Ops comes out, so if anyone sees any good deals I would appreciate the heads up.

The price has been dropped to €169.99 now. Not a huge drop, but still something.

Has anyone noticed any new deals? I can't see any price drop online yet.

I'm planning on getting one for my brother's birthday in less than 2 weeks with all the Metal Gear games as he's a huge Metal Gear fan.
