Reversing sensors on Classic

I was thinking of getting those ultrasonic reversing sensors for the mustang, the reason is that the rear window is very tinted, so in anything other than bright light I can't see whats behind me, and the mirrors are pretty useless.

However, I don't want to drill holes in my rear bumper, or have those ugly lumps stuck to my nice chrome or painted behind ;)

has anyone done this, or come up with another solution for not reversing into the car behind them, cameras, different mirrors or pointy sticks?

Dirty big tow bar on mine is an excellent deterrant to people parking too close.

I've read about ones that come in the form of a number plate surround?

surely you should be able to park using the outside mirrors....or maybe you are being more careful with your shiny V8 beastie than I am with my dirty old van....:)

Can you mount sensors under the bumpers? hanging down from the bumper brackets or somesuch?

My dad installed (on his Fiesta...) a number plate holder that has two little radar thingies on the sides. Works wonders. It must have cost him €40 tops.

I've seen them mounted underneath the bumper of a VW camper van. You wouldn't now their their until they are pointed out.
