This Mondays workshop is on Internalised homophobia.

It's a term that often gets bandied about here, but people are often unsure what it means.

Internalised Homophobia is the negative beliefs and attitudes about same sex orientation that lesbian gay and bisexual people inevitably absorb through growing up in our culture and which can interfere with the development of self esteem and postive relationships.

Coming out is often the first step in challenging homophobia but it's often takes a lot longer to be free of the internalised effects of homophobia.

This workshop is a chance to explore some of thoes effects and look at the steps we can take to be truely comfortable with ourselves as gay and bisexual men.
