I was at one of his gigs in the states last sept, not bad kinda ol skool vibe with lots of breakdancin and open mic sessions. He only played an hour tho which was a bit short IMO. 20 bucks a tkt tho at the last minute so cant complain to much.

When did Kweli play in the village? Cant believe I missed it. I have been a massive fan of kweli this last few months. Only started listenin to him at the start of the year and now I have all his albums. Cant wait for the gig and new album!! Will it be a sellout I doubt it!

It was packed out last time

But the village is a lot smaller than Tripod. I dont know whether I hope its packed or not. Like it would be better in some ways if it wasnt packed. Anyone know if the nightclub is on after?
