I like fps games, I dont like all the story BS that many have now. Why I like CS:CZ so much.

Are there any games that have a multiplayer like fps experience even if you are the only human playing (similar to how CS:CZ is)?

games like halo 2 or doom 3 where you have to go through some story arent as fun for me, I just wanna shoot people/things and blow stuff up.

Timesplitters 2 and Black, both sound like your kind of thing.

Sorry I wasnt as clear as I should have been in the original post, I wanted ps3 titles. While I can play the ps2 titles on it, I would prefer ps3 games. Although both of those are really cheap because they are older and cheap is good :)

looking up reviews and such now on both of those titles, thanks

Can't think of anything that's out now, but it sounds like Unreal Tournament 2007 will be perfect for you when it comes out, though I've no idea when that is...

Or I guess you could pick up Rainbow Six next month and play in Terrorist Hunt mode, the game is a story0based one, but terrorist hunt mode lets you select any location in the game and fill it with up to 50 terrorists before dropping you in to try and find and eliminate them all - it's very tense and a very solid tactical FPS experience.

and I can cheat with the 3rd person cover mode, if it has that like r6v does.

will keep an eye out for those, thanks

Oh Rainbow 6: Vegas is what I was talking about, guess you've already played through it on 360 or PC then...

nope, just read about it in my reearch for a good game. I went to newegg.com looking at their titles and then googled for reviews and whatnot. The 3rd person camera cover thing was discussed along with screen shots. People seem to either love it because they abuse it or hate it because its unfair - especially in multiplayer mode.

I initially rejected this game because it seemed to be more of an RPG style (like doom3/halo 2) however based on what I have been told, without multiplayer mode I can still play like it was multiplayer mode, so its back in the list to investigate.

When you say it comes out next month, is that the EU release? I am basically shopping US sites because I am cheap :P

The good thing about region unlocked games is aside from govt censors, games should be released globally at the same time and maybe this will start a trend with movies, music (generally is global already but not always), etc. I understand the financial parts of it, you release to say america+canada that is 350M or so people. That means that you have to come up with a couple hundred thousand to a million dollars just to cover the media costs. Marketing is extra as well. To add in europe, asia, south america, etc it would cost many times that. If the game flops that is a much bigger hit :(
