Why is it that I was expecting somehting alot more naked?

I like the last one alot, I think with the first one, his head gets lost against the background. Guess it's just down to dark hair like.

The last one looks like a pritrait, however it is focused on the second eye. It is essential to keep focused both eyes or the closer one.
The first ones look like a catalogue picture for clothes. There is nothing about personality of your model. Unless he walks low in real :-)
Technically are the pictures almost perfect. Almost...

I like the last one too, good shot.

I also agree about the first one. I cant put my finger on it but it looks too busy and the hair being lost in the background too doesnt help.

Like the last one. I have to say when I hear male model the first thing that comes to mind are a set of abs as this is all you see in the mainstream media. Thats just me thinking out loud dont mind it.

lol, you sound very awkward shooting a male model. You don't always specify "female model" with the rest of your shoots :)

There's way too much foreground in the first two, its like he's on a table or something. Clothes are a terrible choice, but the exposure is good.

Second one is much better, if lacking a little character.

    Imagine our disappointment :D

Thanks all for checking - and your right I did find it a tad akward as its a different dynamic to the usual of working with female ones. I managed not to mention either 'blue steel' or 'le tigre' though while doing the shots so it went ok enough.
