Ever thought of running a tent at a music Festival?
Obviously not those who cant be named as the crowd there would be asking for trouble.....and other obvious reasons
    but Electric Picnic maybe?

i'm on it!! although as far as i know a tent (at a certain music festival held at a race course by a company who's name i cannot remember) costs about €4,000 for 2 days... tough to see where 4k income would come from over 2 days at a music gig.

you dhave to be running cash games if that was the case, hard to take in 4K in tournaments and pay staff aswell.

Isn't the whole idea of going to an event like that is to get rat faced and enjoy the music having forked out big money for the privledge rather then sitting in a tent playing cards?

Maybe a tent at the races, Curragh, Punchestown would be a better idea.

Honestly can't see you having the type of market that will cover 4k (and some) at a music gig.

frankly, why would you be arsed?

You'd stand a significant chance of making a loss, plus you'd have to deal with a bunch of clueless muppets off their tits.

There's much better opportunities out there.

which was why it was an idea for promoters not players ;), Last act is usually around 10ish to 12ish and the usual nocturnal nature of these things may have been a monkey maker

anyway......given the responses, probably not a great idea. Casino maybe, poker no.
