Hi, I will be going to Amsterdam in the summer and plan on staying for 4 or 5 months. I don't have a fortune to spend on accomadation (unless I can get work over there which seems like it could be difficult if you don't speak dutch) so most hotels are out as an option but would prefer not to stay in a hostel or shared…

So I was thinking about renting a flat as they seem to be reasonably cheap, decent one bed flats going for 1000-1500 a month. Has anyone done this before or have any advice?
