    Hey guys,

I'm into a good range of music and I've been getting into the dance scene more and more lately, especially trance and hardcore. Was wondering what CD's would be the best for a newbie.

Are the Clubland hardcore CD's any good? Looking for a mix CD to start off.

    Thanks

If you're only getting into it, chances are you won't have the best concept of what the genres entail - especially since trance and hardcore are such ambiguous categorisations. How about you list out some tunes you like and then maybe someone could make a recommendation based on that?

Clubland is generally crap in all regards, more pop dance than anything else. If you are you getting into Hardcore I'd recommend picking up Lab 4 "None of us are saints" for some real quality hardcore/trance crossover. If you're open minded and willing to go deeper into "Extreme Hardcore" pick up one of the Rotterdam compilations available. Be warned though, the rotterdam hardcore is not for the faint of heart! :)
