MMA League Round 2 - 3 weeks to go!

As usual the entry forms have been coming in steadily for MMA League Limerick in the UL Sports Complex on the 21st of April. It is not too late though, the Galway event was very big and this one is looking like being the same. I can't stress enough to get your entry forms in sooner rather than later.

Fighters - download the form and send it off this week
Coaches - why not bring a few copies of the form to training get them filled out and send all your students forms off together? Easier for everyone, though it does take a small effort on your part.

Either way, looking forward to seeing everyone again for Round 2!

What sort of filthy Persian do you have to be not to compete in the MMA League, it's Marathon to the Sub Championships' Thermopylae.

Ah yes the UFC, the poor man's MMA League
The Limerick event will also feature a fastest submission and submission of the day awards from Fighting Ireland, who will also have a trade stand at the event.

maybe i should post my own thread but i have one question

i have ambitions of starting muay thai and brazilian jujitsu and moving onto mma

at 21 is it a reasonable ambition to want to compete in the medium term or have i jsut started way too late?????

I'm hoping some guys from the gym will be going and will be willing to give me a lift. I want to try my hand at MMA one of these days.

I started BJJ at 25 and MMA competition a year later, never too old to start.

Even if you are not 100% that you will be there, get that form in to make sure you can compete if the opportunity presents itself!

The MMA League Round 2 in the University of Limerick went as smooth as always, thanks of course to the excellent work by Mark Lenord and co. Thanks to all who helped out on the day, Clive and Mark for refereeing.

All the fighters seemed to enjoy the experience and we hope to see them at the next round of the League. I'm sure that Mark will post the results as soon as he's able.
