Band? Anyone? New Band?

Hi, I'm starting a new band and I'm looking for musicians.

It'll be a bit of a mix, but the main types of music involved would be grunge, funk and alternative stuff. I've some of the music up on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/eoinleonard .

I'm looking for a singer, drummer, rhythm guitarist and a lead guitarist for a start, and I'd be playing bass. I live in maynooth but I dont mind travelling into town to practice.

The music is kinda light hearted and fun but I want to make a real go at getting a good band going, so this isnt just going to be some messing around. Give me a shout if you are any of these things and you like the music: nanitendaio[at]gmail[dot]com or just post on the thread.

Update:

I've a rhythm guitarist and a drummer that I already know thats interested so I'll be having a jam with them sunday week. I'll see how it goes with them first before trying any more rhythm guitarists or drummers.

I can meet up with any singers or lead guitarists before then to have a bit of a jam.

The lead guitarist doesnt have to be able to solo like crazy, although it is a bonus , but the main idea would be play nice licks, be a little bit funky and a little bit quirky. Think of David Gilmore vs Mike McCreedy vs Joshua Homme .

I'd like a singer that can sing out and give it loads of 'tude, but be able to do some nice easy going stuff too.

I hope I'm not asking for too much

Twenty somethings preferably but I'm not too worried about age. As long as youre over 18 so you can play in pubs and not way older than the rest of us (I'm 23) then its fine.
