I just saw an ad that's trying to encourage people to buy board games for Easter as presents. It seems that Easter might become to new Christmas.
I think this is crazy. It's just businesses trying to get an excuse to sell more products

What do you all think of it?

Easter is about chocolate eggs and chocolate eggs only. And maybe the bars and sweets that come with the eggs. Oh, and Jesus too, I suppose.

Yes, eggs is where it should end. Along with the occasional chocolate bar, but that's it! The last thing we need is another Christmas

Very, very much doubt it. Parents just won't be bothered/will laugh at the idea/will think its as stupid as it really is tbh.

I've seen the ad myself, but in reality it is only one ad, and again I very much doubt that it will take off. Its a silly idea and should (and hopefully/probably will be) rejected by 99.9999% of the population. I certainly won't be buying people Easter presents anyway.

Looks like a marketing ploy to me. I'm buying a few easter eggs for nephews and friends that's it. Its a family day not another bastardised holiday like Christmas.

Typical of companies trying to screw us good people out of more of our Money. Stick with the eggs people and give the Holy dude a mention also.

You mean the Easter bunny right?

Well, I would always get Shane an Easter present as he hates Easter eggs and chocolate. He really outdid himself this year with this georgeous Lindt Bunny and Easter Egg combo, am I love it.

I can't remember the last time I had an Easter egg. Just never really cared that much about them.

I remember when I was younger my brother used to get money to buy an Easter egg and instead worked out that he got more chocolate if he just bought loads of bars instead. Sneaky bastard.

I've never bought an Easter egg for a girlfriend either.

Could this explain my single status?

Nah. No way. That couldn't be it.

    Could it?

I dunno, there's a lot of stupid people who'll buy anything that's advertised. Crazy Frog for example.

Other companies might try and jump of the bandwagon
