Dodgey game Marshals

I had an aul day of paintball fun up in Crossfire in Wicklow today... was none too impressed with the game marshalls.
    Here's why...

*In one game they clumped together in the middle of a fire fight, there was no way I could get to them, nor was there no way they could observe what was going on in the rest of the game

*We were playing a bit of a defend the fortress type game and two marshalls stood right infront of our base pretty much shielding a big angle of the playing field, allowing the opposing team to move up and out of the cover they were pinned to.

*On the same defend the fort game we were attacking and the opposing team had men up in the tower we were supposed to get to. It's totally against the rules of the game to be in the tower but nothing was done about it.

*They didn't seem to monitor the game at all. There was a two tag system going on and when you died you handed over a tag. On numerous occasions I saw someone getting shot within sight of a marshal, the guy would put his hand up but wouldn't take off his tag. He walks away, comes back minutes later as good as new with no points for the kill.

There were various other things like this that really wrecked my head. Fair enough it was just a random day of fun, but stuff like this really is more fun when the rules are in-place. It wasn't all the marshalls fault now, there were a crazy amount of cheaters playing, but that was all the more reason for someone to step up and make people play by the rules.

It was so bad at one stage that people were out of the game and in the deadzone, yet had both armbands on, meaning no points for the kills.

Anyone else experienced anything like this? The marshalls were grand personality wise by the way, good laugh, just didn't seem to care about the games.
