No you are clearly mistaken, that Halibut2' real name is The Stig - everyone knows that!!

    I'm Stephen Rynne.
You're right to ask about me as I don't deserve in the slightest to be favourite for the Paddylast competition. My price has been driven down by my obliging fellow members of my family and some friends (all abroad) to "stick on a tenner for me" etc.. it's certainly a false price as I'm not playing very long, though I have been playing with success in tournaments (used to play on paddypower as rynners). Currently I live in Russia but originally from Athenry, Co. Galway and have just had a baby girl :D
Want to hear the scary part? if I win the trip to vegas it's a long-shot that I'd take it up as I don't fly!

Long trip from Russia by road and ferry. You better leave now. :D
    Good luck in the Open.

    hi rynners!

we used to play a good bit together on tribecca - 100 & 200 $ tourneys etc.
congrats on the new arrival and i hope you got all that visa ****e sorted out

you probably remember me as ianie - gl in the IO too

    hi Ianie (wexford/Wicklow?)
yeah remember you of course.. no, not worked out yet.. got married though :) and of course had Niamh too.. worse visa problems came last week of a slightly different nature when my card details were scanned in russia and some dude was withdrawing in the US.. they took thousands ... all from some group of walmart stores.. ah well.. at least it didn't require a document, translation and apostil stamp like the other visa does!
will you be playing in the open? am all excited about it now..

    Ianie,
love you're thread "I am a fish / donk – can you help me??" you're making a point that would go over most players that flip out at "lucky players who call with that??" I suggest you get Rolf Slothbooms 4dvd winning plays.. you'll find it right up your street for cash play.. though I suspect that maybe you already have it ;) .. it's well worth buying..

OCallagh, that's a fierce compliment coming from you (second favourite and winnner of Paddylast in 2006). I'm shocked and humbled. However, I disagree!! I expect you to go much deeper than I will into the tournament. My preparation is currently endless looking at dvds on tells and live tournament play (handy for the long train journeys from Russia), too late now to try anything too new in my game. All in all I hope to use a lot more of the player in my decision making than is normal for me (online) and if I finish day one with an increased stack because of it I'll have achieved my goal.
still look at onepercentpledge.com at times, though seems there's no forum input unfortunately.
