For those of you who have nearly finished the first year of Architecture here, what was the course and the workload like? (I'm thinking lecture hours, amount of studio work, course work, etc)

Is it more conceptual design and theory orientated or is it a mixture of theory and professional practise (Quantity surveying, building regulations, etc)?
