Government to draft similar legislation as US regarding online gambling??!

According to Bloomberg, the Irish Government is intending to bring in legislation similar to that of the US as regards banks being banned from the transaction of funds from gambling sites.

It seems they planned on bringing it up over the Paddy's day weekend but spent too long on other subjects.

Anyone heard similar reports?
