I presume its a bit of condensation - does this happen after it gets a nice long drive?

Sounds normal, a car will produce almost the same amount of water as it burns in fuel. This is caused by Oxidation of unburnt hydrocarbons (HC) to carbon dioxide and water (2CxHy + (2x+y/2)O2 → 2xCO2 + yH2O). This is done by the catalytic converter. Most of this turns to steam as the exhaust gets warm. but some water may be visable.
