Reset Oil Light

    Does anyone know how to reset an oil light on a Yamaha Majesty 250 YP250cc.

    you will need to bring it to a bike shop that will need to get a special part over from yamaha and plug it into your bike to reset the light. Megabikes on wexford street will do it for ya;) I used to work there.:D

    I'm in Limerick so I bring it out to Meskels. One more thing, once the light comes on due to low oil level, does in not turn off until it is reset as you described?

    Just press and hold the Reset Button on the right hand side of the Speedo Clock until the light goes out, and then let go. The Owners Manual says to hold it for at leas 5 seconds. But mine only takes 2-3 seconds.
