Anyone have experience getting MS media Centre to work with Irish DVB-T? I have a Medion PC running Vista and Media Centre. Media Centre can’t find any of the Irish test DVB stations when it does a scan. Strange thing is, I installed a trail copy of Arcsoft’s TOTAL MEDIA programme and it finds everything! All the RTE channels on DVB + radio channels + locked BBC,SKY etc!

No joy with MCE2005 on my HP PC. So I installed MediaPortal, configured it & worked first time. :)

tried Media Portal but it can't detect the TV card in the Medion. the ArcSoft programme works perfectly but it costs $79 for working version! there must be a way to get MS Media Center to work.

Hi Tony Lee, I have a medion 8818 which has the same tv card and setup as your machine. DVB-T is not official in Ireland hence MCE does not cater for it.

Media Portal looks great but I haven't manged to get in work with my card. Not really had the time.

I reckon post will have better responses in this forum http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=643

also this is a good source too.
